Water Rocket Competitition
Michael and Peter won third place in the Water Rocket Competition at the State Science Olympiad. This was their first year in the State Science Olympiad and they were competing against 39 teams. They made their rockets themselves. They fill it with 800ml water and lauch it at 75psi. The team with the longest time aloft, measured from lift off until it lands is the winner.
Some rockets don't get very high, some parachutes don't open. Theirs went about 300' and their parachute opened and it landed 44 seconds later.
